Our driver will pick you up from the airport. Spend the day relaxing and exploring the main square, Jemaa el Fnaa, and the souks on your own.

Day 2 Full Day to Visit Marrakech with a local guide

Today, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Marrakech Medina with an experienced local guide. The tour includes visits to the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina, its souks, and narrow alleys. You’ll also explore the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens. Return to your traditional Riad in the Medina for the night.

Day 3Marrakech » Atlas Mountains >> Ait Ben Haddou » > Ouarzazate >> Dades [ 325 km ]

Your 7-day tour from Marrakech starts at 8:30 AM. We drive to Dades Gorges, crossing the famous Tizi N’Tichka pass with breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and have lunch nearby. Continue to Ouarzazate, “The Gate to the Desert,” to visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios, known as the Hollywood of Africa. Finally, drive to Dades Gorges for a traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 4Dades Valley >> Todra Gorges >> Erfoud » Merzouga ( Erg Chebbi ) [ 255 km ]

After a hearty breakfast, explore the Dades Valley, including the unique rock formations known as “Monkey Toes” and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Travel to Tinghir and Todra Gorges, passing scenic Berber villages. Arrive at Todra Gorges and enjoy the towering red cliffs. Continue to Erfoud for lunch, then head to the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes in Merzouga. An experienced camel handler will take you on a camel ride through the dunes, where you can enjoy the sunset and try sandboarding. Spend the night in a traditional Berber-style nomad tent at an equipped desert camp, complete with a delicious dinner and a music party around the fire.

Day 5Merzouga » Berber Families >> Black Desert >> Merzouga [ 40km ]

After a shower and breakfast in the desert camp, take a camel trek back to the departure point to meet your driver. Begin a discovery tour of the Merzouga area, visiting the seasonal lake and its migratory birds, including flamingos. Visit a village inhabited by people with dark skin originally from Sub-Saharan Africa and experience their Gnawa music and lifestyle. Stop in the small deserted town of Mefes to see its lead mines and minerals. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Merzouga.

Day 6Merzouga >> Er rissani >> Alnif >> Nkob » Agdz >> Ouarzazate [ 367 km ]

After breakfast and a shower at the hotel, leave the Merzouga desert and travel to Ouarzazate via a different route through Berber villages like Alnif, Agdz, and the Draa Valley. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a local riad.
